Before you start - Open the LG ThinQ application. - Select Smart Diagnosis from the menu. - Follow the instructions shown in the app.
Using Audible Diagnosis If the app directs you to use audible diagnosis, follow these steps exactly:
1. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance. - Do not press any other buttons. 2. Hold the mouthpiece of your phone in front of the Power button. - Keep the phone very close: Max. 10 mm. 3. Press and hold the Temp. button for 3 seconds or longer while continuing to hold the phone in place. 4. Keep the phone in position until the tone transmission finishes. - When the tones stop, the diagnosis will appear in the app.
Best results - Do not move the phone while the tones are being transmitted.
What to expect - The audible diagnosis is completed through the LG ThinQ app. - The app provides the diagnosis after the sound transmission ends.

Hold the phone’s mouthpiece in front of the Power button at a maximum distance of 10 mm.
Open the LG ThinQ app, select Smart Diagnosis in the menu, and follow the instructions in the app.
Turn on the appliance with the Power button, hold your phone’s mouthpiece in front of the Power button, press and hold Temp. for 3 seconds or longer, and keep the phone still until the tones finish and the diagnosis appears in the app.
