Control Panel and Display Overview

This section explains the main controls on the washer and what the display lights mean.

Control panel buttons and knob

Power On/Off button - Press this button to turn the washer on or off. - If you press it during a cycle, the cycle is canceled and any load settings are lost. - The door will unlock after a brief pause. - Note: If any water is still in the drum after the washer shuts off, it will drain after a delay. - You can restart the washer at any time before draining begins. Once draining starts, all functions are suspended until the water has been completely drained and the washer shuts off.

Cycle Selector knob - Turn this knob to choose the cycle you want. - After you select a cycle, the standard preset settings appear in the display. - You can change those settings with the Cycle Modifier buttons any time before starting the cycle.

Start/Pause button - Press this button to start the selected cycle. - If the washer is already running, press it to pause the cycle without losing the current settings. - Note: If you do not press Start/Pause after selecting a cycle, the washer will automatically turn off after a delay and all cycle settings will be lost. - Any water remaining in the drum will be drained.

Cycle Modifier buttons - Use these buttons to change the wash temperature, spin speed, and soil level for the selected cycle. - The current settings are shown in the display. - Press the button for an option to move through other settings.

Option and Extra Function buttons - Use these buttons to choose additional cycle options. - Some buttons also activate special functions when you press and hold them for 3 seconds.

Time and Status Display

Cycle Status Indicators - These LEDs blink when you select a cycle to show which stages will run. - When a cycle is running, the LED for the active stage blinks. - The LEDs for the remaining stages stay steady. - When a stage is complete, its LED turns off. - If a cycle is paused, the active stage LED stops blinking.

Estimated Time Remaining - When you select a cycle, the default time for that cycle appears. - This time changes as you choose modifiers or options. - If the display shows --- , the time will appear after load sensing detects the load size. - The time shown is only an estimate based on normal operating conditions. - Several outside factors can affect the actual time, including load size, room temperature, and incoming water temperature. - Note: After you press Start/Pause, the washer measures the load size. The estimated time may change once load sensing is complete. - If Delay Wash is set, the remaining delay time counts down until the cycle begins.

AI DD Indicator - AI DD provides the appropriate drum rotation actions after load sensing is complete. - This indicator lights when: - the Normal cycle is selected and operated, except when Heavy soil level is selected - the Bright Whites™ and Rinse+Spin cycles are selected and operated with any cycle options

Door Lock Indicator - This indicator lights when the cycle starts and the door is locked. - It stays on until the cycle is paused, stopped, or finished.

Wi-Fi Indicator - This indicator is lit when the washer is connected to a home Wi-Fi network.

Remote Start Indicator - This indicator lights when the Remote Start feature is activated.
