Selectable options and cycle features

Your dryer includes cycle modifiers and extra options that let you adjust drying for different fabrics, load sizes, and convenience needs. Not every option works with every cycle. If you press a button for an option that is not allowed for the selected cycle, the dryer chimes twice and the setting does not change.

Before you use options

• Select the drying cycle first.
• Adjust the cycle settings, if needed, using the modifier buttons.
• Then press the option button you want.
• The LED for a selected option lights up when that option is turned on.

Cycle modifiers

Dry Level Use Dry Level to choose how dry you want the load.

• Press the Dry Level button repeatedly to scroll through the available settings.
• The dryer changes the cycle time automatically based on the setting you choose.
• More or Very increases the cycle time.
• Less or Damp decreases the cycle time.
• Use Less or Damp for items you want to iron.

Temp. Use Temp. to adjust the drying temperature for fabric care.

• Press the Temp. button repeatedly to scroll through the available settings.
• This lets you tailor the heat to the load.

Time Dry Time Dry lets you choose a drying time manually.

• Available time: 20 to 60 minutes
• Time changes in 10-minute increments
• Use this for small loads or to remove wrinkles
• The default temperature is High, and you can adjust it
• Dry Level cannot be adjusted in Time Dry
• Time Dry can be used with Reduce Static and Wrinkle Care
• Use the More Time / Less Time buttons to change the time in 5-minute increments

Signal The Signal function controls the sounds the dryer makes.

• The dryer plays a melody when a cycle is finished.
• The buttons also make a sound when pressed.
• To turn the sounds on or off, press the Signal button.
• Alert sounds will still be audible.

Extra options

TurboSteam TurboSteam adds steam to a cycle to help reduce wrinkles and odor in fabrics.

How to use it: 1. Turn on the dryer and select the desired cycle. 2. Set any cycle modifiers you want. 3. Press the TurboSteam button. 4. Press Start/Pause to start the cycle.

Important notes: - Damp and Less dry levels cannot be selected when TurboSteam is on. - If the filter or duct is clogged, this option may not work as well. - The drum stops during operation so steam can stay inside.

Reduce Static Reduce Static adds steam late in the drying cycle to reduce static electricity from dry fabrics rubbing together.

How to use it: 1. Turn on the dryer and select the desired cycle. 2. Set any cycle modifiers you want. 3. Press the Reduce Static button. 4. Press More Time or Less Time to adjust the steam time for the load size. The available settings are 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, or 18 items. 5. Press Start/Pause to start the cycle.

Important notes: - Damp and Less dry levels cannot be selected when Reduce Static is on. - Steam may not be clearly visible during use. That is normal. - Do not use steam with delicate fabrics such as wool, silk, or easily discolored fabrics. - If the filter or duct is clogged, this option may not work as well. - The drum stops during operation so steam can stay inside.

Energy Saver Energy Saver helps reduce energy use on the Normal cycle, depending on load size.

• When this option is selected, the cycle begins with an air dry section.
• Drying time increases when Energy Saver is on.
• Energy Saver is on by default in the Normal cycle.
• Turning Energy Saver off changes the default cycle to the last cycle used.
• To return to the default settings, turn Energy Saver on.
• TurboSteam and Energy Saver cannot be used together.

Damp Dry Signal This option signals when the load is about 80% dry.

• Press Damp Dry Signal before you start a drying cycle.
• Use it when you want to remove items that dry faster, or items you want to iron or hang while still slightly damp.

Wrinkle Care Wrinkle Care helps prevent wrinkles by tumbling the load periodically after the cycle ends.

• It can continue for up to 3 hours after the selected cycle.
• It stops if the door is opened.
• Press Wrinkle Care before you start a drying cycle.
• If you want to select it after a cycle has started, pause the cycle, set the option, and press Start/Pause.
• When the option is on, a rectangle with a dashed line and ENd appears on the display until the feature ends.
• When the option is on, only the Power button works after the drying cycle ends.
• Always turn off the appliance before unloading the clothes.

Drum Light The drum has a white LED light.

• It lights when the dryer is turned on.
• It turns off automatically when the door is closed and the cycle starts.
• You can also turn it on during a cycle by pressing and holding Wrinkle Care for 3 seconds.
• The drum light turns off automatically after 4 minutes.

Control Lock Control Lock disables the controls so cycles cannot be changed accidentally.

• It can help prevent children from changing cycles or operating the dryer.
• The door does not lock.
• Once Control Lock is set, all buttons are locked except Power.
• During a cycle, CL and the remaining time appear alternately on the display.
• Turning off the power does not reset Control Lock.
• You must turn it off before you can use other options and functions.

How to turn it on or off: 1. Turn on the power. 2. Press and hold Damp Dry Signal for 3 seconds. 3. When deactivated, a chime sounds and the remaining time for the current cycle returns to the display.

More Time / Less Time These buttons increase or decrease drying time in 5-minute increments when you use manual drying cycles such as Speed Dry, Air Dry, and Time Dry.

Helpful reminders

• Not every option is available with every cycle.
• If a selected option is not allowed, the dryer chimes twice and the LED does not light.
• Steam cycles can make the door very hot. Do not touch the door during steam cycles.
• Do not reach into the dryer during a steam cycle, because steam can cause severe burns.
• Steam may not be clearly visible during steam cycles. This is normal.
