Final Installation Check and Power Test

After the washer has been installed, use the final check below to confirm that the power connection, water supply, spinning, draining, and leveling are all working properly.

Connect to power - Plug the washer into a 120 V, 60 Hz grounded 3-prong outlet. - Make sure the appliance and outlet are positioned so the plug is easy to reach.

Run the test cycle 1. Load the washer with 6 thick bath towels (about 6 pounds). 2. Press the Power button. 3. Press Rinse+Spin. 4. Press Start/Pause to start the wash cycle.

What to check during the test Make sure: - Water is supplied properly. - The washer does not rock or vibrate excessively. - The washer drains well during the spin cycle.

If something is not right The manual gives these checks if the test does not go as expected: - If water leaks during water supply, see Connecting the Water Inlet Hoses to connect them properly. - If the washer rocks and vibrates excessively, see Leveling the Washer and level it again. - If the drain does not work, see Connecting the Drain Hose and install the hose properly.

Power cord and outlet safety reminders These points are part of the final installation check and power connection: - Do not use a worn or damaged power cord or power plug. Replace or repair it immediately. - Do not modify the power cord or plug provided with the appliance. - Do not damage the cord when installing or moving the washer. - Make sure the appliance is grounded. - Connect it only to a grounded outlet conforming to the rating. - Do not damage or cut off the ground prong. - Do not use an adapter or extension cord. - For best performance, plug the washer into its own individual outlet to help avoid overloading house wiring. - If an extension cord is necessary, use only a new, UL-listed cord with a 3-prong grounding plug rated at no less than the branch circuit, and do not use one longer than 3 feet.
